The Animal Paintings...
I have always had a deep love for animals and a passionate love of color, so it was natural to combine these in my paintings.  I also have a powerful connection to Spirit and spiritual practices. I felt compelled to paint intimate and up-close portraits of these beautiful creatures, capturing their unique personalities.  Each art piece, for me,  holds a bit of their essence; the canvases feel infused with the energy of these beings. I paint the eyes first and find that they have a presence and communicate with me as I paint the rest of them.  Frequently, an animal will come to me in my dreams asking to be painted. Sometimes they have a personal message for me, but often they are just coming through me, waiting for the person who is meant to find them. I treat each one as a spiritual object, a portal of sorts.  These paintings feel very precious, speaking in the language of the dreamtime and the soul. My wish is that you find the one meant for you and, through them, deepen your connection to Nature and the beauty and magic of Spirit.

The Deity Paintings...
Lately, I have been exploring deities and beings from the past, both in myth and history (often a blurred line of distinction).  As with the animals, some of these beings have come to me in meditation or shamanic journeys with specific messages.  My recent work has focused on the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine.  I have been learning how to work with both individually and in combination.  I am fascinated with how they interact and balance each other, and the wisdom they offer.  I am also learning how they work in combination with the animals, amplifying and complementing each other's aspects.  This is a delightful inexhaustible wealth of treasure that I am happily getting lost in...
