The Letters from Tricia
How to use The Letters...
If you are deep in an overwhelming emotion, look below for the letter that speaks to the emotion and download it to your phone or desktop. It is a straightforward way to work with where you are right now, even in the depths of pain. It will help you get through it.
To gain a deeper understanding of the situation, download the "Who is Present" add-on. It can be added to all the Dear Emotion letters and help you identify and work with the aspect of yourself that is present and in need of help.
I included a few other letters, such as "Dear My Body" and "Dear Prosperity," as well as a couple more that may be helpful if you, like me, struggle with these topics.
Whether you use the "Dear Emotion" letters or in conjunction with the "Who is Present " addition,
I hope they afford you a moment of grace in the pain and a way to work through whatever is coming up. I offer you my deepest empathy and prayers, that you may find some relief and eventually gain a greater perspective. I send you my love born from the knowledge of the deep wounds I have traversed.
Peace to you, my brothers and sisters...
How they came about...
There was a time in my life when I was in such deep pain and grief that I wasn't sure I would get through it without quite literally going crazy. I filled stacks of notebooks, pouring my heart out through my pen. I spoke with counselors, though not as often as I would have liked. I didn't have enough money to afford their help often. I dove deep into my spirituality and were it not for that I would probably have checked out. My belief kept me going. However, I needed a way to cope with it. Eventually, through trial and error, I discovered that if I spoke to the emotion as if it were an entity separate from me, I could achieve a sliver of detachment that allowed me some breathing room and also some perspective. This kept the emotion from completely swallowing me up. These came to be known to me as "The Letters". I wrote one to each emotion that threatened to take me over. I wrote them not only to the emotion but also to God, to situations, to things, and to the people in my life who were no longer with me. It kept me in the role of an observer of what was happening, rather than drowning in the overwhelming emotions of a first-person experience.
I eventually took it a step further and started dialoging with the emotion or subject. I asked it probing questions about why it was so powerful and present in my life. Almost without exception, I was led to a young aspect of myself that needed love, attention, and a voice. In dialoging with her, I gained insight into how I was wired and how to rewire a few things, possibly. Eventually, I was able to work with the deep wounds from childhood and lessen their power over me. The observer aspect of myself came on board much more, helping me to be less reactive. With practice, I am mostly able to return to my breath and ride the wave, realizing that the emotions and feelings are not me. I am the one observing those feelings. This practice has helped immensely!
These are free for you to download.
I will not request your email or any other information.
They are a gift. I hope you find them helpful.

A Letter to You
from Your Angels
This letter was channeled to me one day after a deep meditation session. It came through quickly and clearly with no changes, erasing or stumbling. I wrote it out so fast I wasn't even sure what I was writing until I read it afterwards. I offer it to you as a comfort and a reminder of who you truly are, and the extraordinary level of love and support you have.
