My Mission.
Me, doing what I love!
I believe absolutely everyone is creative. They may not be able to draw, paint or play music, but each person has a unique talent and mission for their life. Their creativity is the method or tools they were gifted with to express their purpose. When a child is allowed to develop naturally, they will gravitate towards the activities they are most suited to and brings them the most joy. This is where their innate talent lies and what they came here to offer. I believe that what you were drawn to when you were a child, what you loved to “play” at or with, is a clue to what your creativity and quite possible what your purpose is.
I think we can access these creative gifts and our innate talent through reconnecting with our child self and remembering what made us happy. That young child was expressing these gifts easily and naturally before the world told them they should be something different. My intention with Play is The Way is to transport you into a land of your own imagination. I weave together words, images and meditations along with activities in a way that allows you to open to possibilities and delight in what you are experiencing. The play dates take you on journeys that have no specific destination. The traveling is the point, which I believe is a lovely philosophy for life.

What is Play is The Way
Play is The Way takes participants on an adventure to find their own innate creativity by remembering how they played as a child. We accomplish this through a multi-week, online program that is comprised of pre-recorded videos, live Zoom classes and weekly focused "Play-dates" that the participant enjoys in between our gatherings.
In Play is The Way, I will guide you through fun projects and activities to help you remember how you played and what you loved to do. This is where your divinely gifted creativity lives. When the voice inside your head says you are absolutely NOT creative, what you are hearing is the critical, ego-mind speaking, which is based on old dysfunctional programs. Creativity is natural for EVERYONE and is a heart led process, not born in the mind. This innate gift can be accessed through the innocent child happily playing and doing what they love. When you were young, you were creating simply for the joy of creating. Through Play is The Way, you will open your heart, find your creative voice and discover new gifts and eyes to explore and enjoy your life more.

Is there a materials list?
Most of what you will need is in your imagination. There will be certain playdates that will require a few art and craft supplies. A detailed materials list and the syllabus will be provided upon purchasing the class, so you will have plenty of time to prepare.
Who is it for?
This play-shop is for any Soul who can't seem to find where they hid their creativity and sense of playfulness. No experience in any artistic medium or play ground antics are necessary and all physical capabilities are very welcome! The only requirement is a willingness to follow your own treasure map which I will help you uncover.
How will I join the play-shop?
After adding your name to our waitlist, you will be informed via email that we've got your name and interest in the course. When we have the dates set, we will send you another email and you will be among those to have the first chance to sign up at the discounted rate of $399. Will we be critiquing any of the things we do or make?
No, we will absolutely NOT be critiquing any thing you might make in our play shops or any experience you might have. You are creating from your soul which is never "wrong" and whatever your experience or creations, they are perfect and have great wisdom to offer you. Creating "art" is not the point. Finding your sense of play and unleashing your own unique creativity IS!
We will share and process in sacred and safe small groups to be witnessed and to be heard, and to receive reflection and inspiration as you go through the process.
What if I miss some of the live class?
We will record the entire session each time. If you miss anything, you can watch the recording afterwards on your own time and schedule. You will also be given links to any printed materials so everything will be at your fingertips after each class. Because of this, there will be no refunds.
Do you teach techniques?
Yes, we will be teaching you some techniques that will help you express the specific piece you soul is calling you to create or to help you in the playdate you are being invited on. However the more important aspect is the wisdom you will be uncovering and the expression of your own unique creative voice. You will feel inspired and proud of both yourself and any of the meaningful things we will be doing and creating. You will learn how to trust what wants to happen as you allow it to come through YOU!
